In the city center of Saigon, backpacker area, very fine atmosphere and especially very pretty boys. The only queer venue that is open late at night. I had a great hour. Would go again.

A super place

What a great, beautiful place to go out, staff is very friendly, great boogie music and very cute guys. The location is super handy since it is located in the heart of the pack packers district (district 1). I had a super night here and will definitely return when I am back in Saigon. Republic is a big plus for the local gay community and the (gay) tourists.

Honestly, you've not been to Saigon until you've tried to cross over one of the main roads or taken a scooter ride through the busy jungle of moving vehicles; it's something you won't forget in a hurry!

Saigon is a lot of amusing. It's busy, frenetic, has super feisty locals, manic traffic, and delicious road food. The lgbtq+ scene is also pretty good, with a large LGBTQ community of both ex-pats and locals.

The Workers Club is a huge site that has indoor and outdoor sport facilities including pool, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, gym, basketball and ballroom dancing classes. Thousands of people use the facilities. At the back of the premises is the swimming pool. Gym, pool, and saunas can be very cruisy. Open daily from 6-9am, then they seal and reopen from 4-7pm. You can buy entry for the whole afternoon. No English spoken.
