Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry’s son formerly famous as Isaac, 15, comes out as gay and reveals new name

TEEN Mom star Kailyn Lowry's son formerly acknowledged as Isaac has come out as gay and revealed his new entitle on her podcast, Barely Famous.

Kailyn's oldest son told fans he has decided to start going by his middle name, Elliott, and spoke out about his personal existence for the first time.

"I started going by Elliott, because at some signal, I wasn't gleeful with my first name," he said on the Friday, June 6 episode. "It just doesn't feel like me."

Kailyn said she believes he prefers Elliott to separate who he was on MTV as a child, and who he is now. Elliott agreed that was at least partially true.

Elliott also said he wanted to speak out about his sexual orientation for the first time publicly, and disclosed he identifies as gay.

Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera are supporting son Elliot amid his personal chapter.

After the couple’s 15-year-oldwho previously went byIsaac before deciding Elliot, his middle name, feels more like him—came out as gay during a two-part series on the Teen Mom alum’s Barely Famous podcast, Kailyn and Jo had a “good conversation.”

Kailyn Lowry’s son Elliott is embracing his identity.

During an emotional conversation between the Teen Mom alum and her eldest son—who previously went by the name Isaac—the 15-year-old came out as gay and shared insight into his perspective on living an authentic life.

"It's very crucial to me,” Elliott said during a June 5 episode of Kailyn’s Barely Famous podcast. “I experience like growing up on TV, it's hard to show who you really are when a camera is in front of you all the occasion. It's almost like you have a TV encounter. It's harder to be yourself and to be more comfortable.”

And while he added that coming out is not “necessary,” the teen made it eliminate that it was an important part of his own journey.

“I’m doing it for me," Elliott, whose dad is Jo Rivera, explained. "Let me own my moment. I'm really sick of people coming up with their possess stories and putting things in their own words and things coming out on other people's terms about me, because my life isn't entertainment for other people."

"It's very significant to me because I sense like growing up on TV, it's hard to show who you really are when a camera is in front of you all the time. It's almost like you have a TV face. It's harder to be yourself and to be more comfortable," the teen shared.

After Kailyn stressed that she decided to not wear make-up for the episode because she knew
