A story that can be summed up in a Notion, born of personal experiences over the years around the world, and a desire to create a space where all members of a community – the Gay Male collective – would feel 'at home, even far from home'. A concept of Gay Urban Resort that wanted to be a space of conviviality, crossing cultures and identities, wealthy in diversity and modern encounters, a kind of nest, a “pied-à-terre” in the heart of a city, Lisbon, rich in its past, dazzling with light and bubbling with life, in broad daylight and in the middle of the night... A dream that became a draft and then a reality.

EDON Villas is an exclusively gay accommodation within our property, located between Faro and Loulé, 10 minutes drive from the airport. Two villas are available, Villa Sossêgo which consists of a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room with a sofa bed that can be converted into an extra bed and Villa Boêmia consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room with sofa bed. Both Villas are independent with lead access from outside, from the usual areas. At your disposal there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, a lounge area, Jacuzzi and Barbecue area. Gay South of Portugal
The area from Lisbon southwards is mostly taken up by the rolling plains of the Alentejo. Its decisive role in the overthrow of dictatorship in the 1974 Revolucao dos Cravos (revolution of carnations) is universally recognised. Dwelling to the great latifundios (large farming estates), the workers from which support any outlet for their anger at the unfair employment policies, this 'Red' region is the antithesis of its northern mirror-image. As flat as the north is craggy, with its liberal attitudes and weaker religious ties, it is an area whose people are very welcoming, albeit slightly wary of strangers. Highly agricultural - olives, cork, pigs - the colours of the landscape offer every imaginable shade of green, stitched together in a blanket of tranquillity, interspersed with vibrant yellow gorse, exquisite purples and blues and a solid base of earthy russets, chestnut and ochres of rich tilled land; an artist's dream.
Evora, the capital, is sheer poetry - if you can fight through its tourists to see the famous temple of Diana, old university and monastery (now a splendid pousada).
